CALL CENTRE ASSOCIATION OF THAILAND - 2008 NATIONAL CALL CENTRE AWARDS

The Call Centre Industry Association of Thailand (CCIA) hosted its 2nd National Call Centre Awards night at the Amari Watergate on October 3.
Of the 15 corporate and 77 individual applicants, GE Money won the best call centre over 50 seats in-house with DHL Express, winning the best call centre under 50 seats. True Touch won the best outsourcer of the year.

For individual awards, DHL, True Touch, TNT express, Citibank, Thai Samsung, GE Money, Teledirect and Demthielm were amongst the companies taking home trophies.

Chairman Mr. Mark Manolas said the growth of the awards night compared to 2007, is a direct reflection of how serious companies are, irresepective of the nature of business they conduct through their call centre, to improve their business and aspire to greater heights.

The awards night was also attended by Mr. Steve Buckley, Director of Trade and Investment from the UK embassy.

CALL CENTRE ASSOCIATION OF THAILAND - 2008 NATIONAL CALL CENTRE AWARDS

The Call Centre Industry Association of Thailand (CCIA) is a not for profit organization. Over the years it has enjoyed immense growth and activity. It is run by industry professionals on a voluntary basis. CCIA's mission is to promote and give recognition to the Call Center industry in Thailand and those who are employed in Call Centers. It actively promotes continuous professional development of call centre professionals, provides professional standards and skills recognition, research and benchmarking data and provides a forum for knowledge sharing and networking across the industry.

CCIA is holding its 2008 National Call Centre Awards on 3rd October, 2008 at the Amari Watergate Hotel, Bangkok. This prestigious black tie gala event will recognize the best of the best of Thailand's call centre industry.
